Easter Egg Hunt - committee meeting

This will be the second committee meeting for one of our annual signature events, the Easter Egg Hunt on the Capitol lawn. Come join the fun in making it happen! Through this committee, we'll plan and execute the stuffing of over 10,000 eggs for the big "hunt" with approximately a thousand people! Trust me, it's an amazing site, so help out and be a part of it!

Monster Mayhem - Haunted House leadership & kickoff

The first Monster Mayhem haunted house meeting for 2012! The purpose of this kickoff is to bring together previous leadership and new leadership. To be successful, we need to build a leadership foundation for this year, identify interested volunteers, and knowledge transfer with previous leaders and exhausted roosters. This is that opportunity! My enthusiasm for the haunted house has been clear. I do love it. I love haunted houses in general, but more than that I love the feeling of a group of people coming together and doing something great. Monster Mayhem can't be a one-man show. Join me to be a part of something great!

Lansing Jaycees Juice for the week of 2/7/2012 Lansing Jaycees
Taking the Polar Plunge! Laura De La Rambelje Seven Lansing Jaycees and a friend have joined the Chapter's Polar Plunge team to benefit Special Olympics of Michigan. Lori Castelein, Angela Clock, Laura de la Rambelje, Sam Keeney, Jason Larsen, Michael P. Leeds, Carrie May and Sheryl Soczek are all jumping into a perfectly good pond for a great cause. As of the February GMM, the Chapter has raised $795 and we are still in third place out of 48 teams. We are $65 behind second place! Please consider supporting the team through either a pledge to keep us reaching for the top spot or by showing up to root us on. The team is also baking some famous Carrie May cookies to sell at Convention, so consider the philanthropic bent of your stomach if you are attending and help us out! The Lansing Polar Plunge is on Sunday, Feb. 26 at Eagle Eye Golf Course, located at 15500 Chandler Road in Dewitt. The plunging begins at 1 p.m. Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to carpool! We hear rumors of some fabulous costumes, so please consider joining us -- documentary evidence may be destroyed.
