Lansing Jaycees

The Lansing Jaycees accomplished tremendous things in 2011! To reflect and recognize these accomplishments, we will be gathering for the 2011 Year End Awards Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Lexington Hotel. A reception in honor of our Past Presidents will begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. The awards portion of the evening will begin at 8 p.m.

Lansing Jaycees 59th President Scott Pohl will serve as the evening's Emcee and keynote speaker. We will also honor exhausting members Michelle Walk, a past president, and Stephanie Steere.

Please RSVP to Angela Fossi, 83rd President, by Friday, Jan. 13 if you plan to join us for the banquet. We hope to see you there!

Please keep an eye on your email inbox, as we will be sending out the 2012 Membership Survey shortly.

To help ensure a successful year, we need your input so we know what type of programming to offer.

Please join us for the inaugural Happy Hour of 2012 as we visit a new restaurant on the Lansing scene: Bagger Dave's. This establishment is a franchise of a Michigan-based restaurant company. Their menu consists of Belgium style French fries, build-your-own burger options and only Michigan-made beers on tap.

Our General Membership meetings occur the first Tuesday of each month (except July) at Trippers in Frandor starting at 7 p.m. with a social hour starting at 6 p.m. The meeting is open to all members and anyone interested in learning about the Lansing Jaycees. I hope to see you there!
