Calendar Events Adventures with Pierogi 04/06/2013 Join us on a road trip to the Redford Jaycees so we can learn how to make pierogis. This is a hands on work shop! The best part is we get to enjoy all phases of making pierogi including eating them! Knitting Circle 04/09/2013 Come join your fellow Jaycee members in our Knitting Circle. Board of Directors Meeting 04/29/2013 This is the monthly meeting of the 2013 Lansing Jaycees Board of Directors. The meeting is required for all board members and open to any general member that would like to learn more about the Board or present material for Board consideration. General Membership Meeting 05/07/2013 Our General Membership meetings occur the first Tuesday of each month (except July) at Trippers in Frandor starting at 7 PM with a social hour starting at 6 PM. The meeting is open to all members and anyone interested in learning about the Lansing Jaycees. Hope to see you there! Charlie Root, Membership Vice President Spring is in the air, and that means it is time to start talking softball! The Lansing Jaycees will have a team playing in the Meridian Township League again this year, and we need to know who's interested in playing. The games will be played on Monday evenings, but the exact dates have not been released yet. There would also be regular practices, but that schedule should be worked out once the team has shaped up. Do you love camping? Then maybe you'd like to help plan the Lansing Jaycees' annual camping trip, scheduled for July 18 through July 21, location still to be determined. The yearly camping trip is a great way to commune with Mother Nature, get to know your fellow Jaycees and make memories to last a lifetime. Bowling for Kids' Sake Calling all bowlers, we need your help to fundraise for Big Brothers Big Sisters at its annual "Bowl For Kids' Sake" event on Friday, April 26 at Royal Scot from 8 to 10 p.m. Last year the Lansing Jaycees team won first place for the team to raise the most money at our event. Please consider joining the team (you don't have to be a good bowler) to help raise money. The event is a blast (who doesn't like bowling, pizza and beverages?) and you can have a great time while doing something fantasic for a nonprofit that makes a difference in the lives of countless children.
